Prayer
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” – Philippians 4:6
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” – Philippians 4:6
As The Living Bread Ministries moves forward with tasks the Lord has ordained, it is expected that the enemy also moves to counteract every effort made to glorify God. It is with this that a “spiritual war” has been declared.
The bible says in Ephesians 6:12, “for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places”.
With this is mind, the Prayer ministry was established for the purpose of coming together as one body of Christ to pray for the church and its members. The power of prayer is truly amazing, especially when people come together with one voice and one Spirit to pray. God knows the needs of his children and his church. God sees our faithfulness, and in His time, He will honor our petitions by blessing us, His church.
John Wesley once said, “Give me 100 preachers who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but God, and I care not whether they be a pastor or laymen, such alone will shake the gates of hell and set up the kingdom of heaven on earth. God does nothing but in answer to prayer.”
“God’s hand moves when people and pastors pray together. Through prayer God makes the impossible, possible.” – John Maxwell
